ACOUSTICS 2005, will be a time to consider how well the acoustics profession is serving the community in applying the best available science and technology in our ever changing environment.

The emphasis of the Conference will be on practical applications of acoustical science and technology and practical solutions to acoustic problems.

Topics will include:

  • Underwater - bioacoustics, propagation, sonar, environmental impact
  • Architectural acoustics
  • Environmental noise - transport, industrial
  • Occupational health
  • Engineering noise control

The Conference will commence on Wednesday evening, 9th November, with registration and an informal social function. Parallel paper sessions will run on Thursday 10th November. The Conference Dinner will be held on the Thursday evening. Further papers session and Workshop will be held on the Friday, and there will be trade displays both days

Workshops and Short Courses

Workshops associated with Acoustics 2005 provide opportunity for practitioners to engage in professional discussion of current issues in a semi-formal setting.

All workshops are integrated into the conference program in 50 minute sessions and cost of attendance is included with conference registration, unless stated otherwise.
